Michelle brings more than 20 years of experience helping nonprofits connect people to causes they care about deeply. Michelle’s work is grounded in a belief that philanthropy is, at its core, about relationships.
Most recently, Michelle served as Chief Development Officer & Vice President of Philanthropy for the YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg, where she led comprehensive advancement efforts spanning major gifts, capital and endowment campaigns,
government funding, and board engagement. During her tenure, she helped guide an $80 million comprehensive campaign, secured more than $50 million in public and private investment, and partnered closely with executive leadership and the Board to align philanthropy with long-term strategic goals and community impact.

Earlier in her career, Michelle held senior development roles with The Florida Orchestra and Eckerd College. A passionate advocate for donor-centric fundraising, Michelle believes deeply in the inherent good of people and communities. She has worked alongside boards, staff, donors, volunteers, and civic partners across every segment of the philanthropic ecosystem to help organizations become stronger, more sustainable, and more resilient.
A Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and CFRE Ambassador, Michelle is committed to advancing best-in-class fundraising practices. Michelle is also a sought-after speaker, presenting on a variety of topics at the North American YMCA Development Organization (NAYDO) and internationally and supported YMCAs
across the U.S., Canada, Latin America, and the Cayman Islands.
Michelle lives in St. Petersburg, FL . She has 4 grandchildren, a Maltese that “rules her world,” and is an avid golfer.
