As a Senior Consultant with DBD Group, Kim Hinrichs brings more than 30 years of nonprofit leadership, fundraising and development experience. Her background includes work with organizations such as the American Heart Association, Avila University and the YMCA of the Prairie. A skilled communicator and strategist, Kim brings clarity, focus and practical experience to the organizations and campaigns she supports.
In her work with DBD Group, Kim provides capital campaign consulting, feasibility studies, grant strategy and development, and nonprofit consulting. She works closely with nonprofit leaders, boards and campaign volunteers to assess fundraising potential, develop campaign strategy, identify and cultivate prospective donors, build volunteer leadership, and guide organizations through successful capital campaigns.
Kim also has extensive experience in grant research and development. Her services include grant prospecting, proposal development and submission for foundation, corporate and government funding opportunities, as well as grant strategy, editing and nonprofit operations consulting.
Throughout her career, Kim has helped secure more than $55 million in grant funding for nonprofit organizations and other clients. She is experienced in developing successful proposals for private foundations, corporations and government agencies. Her extensive work in the nonprofit sector gives her a strong understanding of fundraising and the grant approval process from both the funder and recipient perspectives.

Kim and her husband live in Holdrege, Nebraska, where they raised their two sons.
