As Senior Consultant with DBD Group, Gib brings over 40 years of leadership experience gained through both for-profit and non-profit organizations.

Gib provides counsel for:

• Discovery and evaluation of funding sources for capital campaigns, including tax exempt bonds, traditional borrowing and fundraising
• Development of overall project budgets, cash flow sources and uses for capital projects and organizational expansion
• Existing debt analysis and restructuring, including analysis to determine the ability of an organization to carry debt
• Developing plans for sustainability, revenue enhancement, cost control, working capital and reserves for non-profits
• Sustainability assessment and business model analysis for non-profits, including program/membership margin analysis
• Development of annual budgets
• Corporate insurance and risk management
• Non-profit CFO coaching and mentoring
• Interim CFO or other temporary staffing to help an organization with short term needs

Before joining DBD, Gib served as the Chief Financial Officer for The Akron Area YMCA for 27 years. Gib was the primary financial resource for 10 YMCA branches including traditional branches, childcare centers, camps and a school for adjudicated youth. Gib also served as the CFO for Goodwill Industries.

Gib worked with the YMCA of the USA for over 10 years providing financial evaluation and guidance for Ys across the United States.

Gib has additional CFO experience in the for-profit sector including retail, construction and manufacturing accounting. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from The University of Akron. He is also a CPA (Retired).

Gib and his family reside in Uniontown, Ohio.
