Having been the Chief Development Officer at the YMCA of Greater Charlotte for 25 years, Dean has a proven track record in successful fundraising campaigns, as well as in building a culture of philanthropy across organizations. In his 38 years in the Development field (Davidson College and the YMCA of Greater Charlotte), Dean has participated in, or led, multiple campaigns which have secured over $500 million in gifts.
Dean focuses on helping his clients build close, trusting, relationships with donors and stakeholders. He is a strategic thinker and coach, helping teams to perform at their best and bringing ideas from “back of napkin” into reality.
